The East Coast never disappoints and we raised hell higher than the tides in the bay of fundy this time around. From boardwalks to bandstands, bars to back home, we really had a great time and one for the books.
Our chariot Cheryl never even flinched at the over 5,000 km trek in two weeks. We met some amazing folks, and reconnected with old friends.
The band was outstanding. A huge thank you to SnowHeel Slim who played the meanest guitar i’ve ever heard, Andre Tellier for providing the most dynamite back beat and to Mr. Rob foreman for killin’ it on the Doghouse bass like no other. An even bigger thank you to all the fans that supported us, the venues who put us up and the strangers who took us in!
We recorded the tracks for our next album over 4 days in May. Big thanks to Snowheel Slim and his rad barn studio, and to Justine the “Bass Machine” Fischer, André Tellier, Chris Altmann, and producer James McKenty! Can’t wait to share these songs with you! We’ll be playing some new ones on tour, so I hope you can make it to one of our shows this summer.
It was an honour to win Female Vocalist of the Year at the Hamilton Music Awards. Congrats to all the nomineees and winners!
I’m afraid to report that we will be increasing the thermometer, so for those who like to get sweaty, read on!

I started writing a blog about our tour out West, and it turned into a poem!
Long drives, starry skies, party time, country sides
Van sleepin’, road eatin’, finger bleeding, people meeting
Empty tank, amp cranked, piggy banks, drinkin’ dranks
Mountain cliffs, tasty riffs, smoking spliffs, lovin’ it
Getting lost, smoky sauce, bottle toss, losing bras
Trailer parks, filling hearts, round of darts, car parts
Scared to death, hold my breath, wont forget, ain’t over yet
Mountain views, singin’ blues, writing tunes, pull thru’s
Old friends, new friends, liver cleanse, camera lens
road drivin’, all nightin’, song writing, white lightnin’
Drum crashin’,hat passin’, mad dashing, gut laughing
Small towns, throwdowns, ghost towns, hoedown
Busted phone, good tone, far from home, need a loan
Hotel, no-tel, oh well, show and tell
Long haulin, bar shot’in, ain’t for nothing, give you something
earnin dollahs, crowd hollah, bar brawler, new callers
Bullet holes, playin shows, rock n’ roll, all I know
Hot springs, world bling, bug sting, I’ll sing
God above, what I love, fill my lungs, we’re not done.
