“A terrific set of songs that will firmly cement her reputation as a rising star of Country music. Highly recommended.” – Jeremy Rees, On The Air (UK)
“Ginger makes no bones about it. Shes a serious country singer, old style, and it’s great to know there are artists out there making “non pop” country…a surprisingly excellent release.” – Bman’s Blues Report
“A concise little package of roots music choc-a-block with country, blues, surf, soul, rock ‘n’roll, and yes, rockabilly, influences. Either St. James has been very unlucky in her pursuit of romance, or she has an eye for detail: either way, her songs are well-crafted, multi-dimensional portraits of love and its vagaries.” – Fervor Coulee, Roots Music Opinion
Flashback to 5 years ago when Ginger made her debut at the Lavigne Tavern. She’s back this Saturday June 11th!
Here we go again! Our western tour is just a few weeks away and we are all pumped to bring you some new music and old favorites. We will be touring for a whole month and what an adventure it will be. Stay tuned for updates and photos. Western Canada here we come!
The East Coast never disappoints and we raised hell higher than the tides in the bay of fundy this time around. From boardwalks to bandstands, bars to back home, we really had a great time and one for the books.
Our chariot Cheryl never even flinched at the over 5,000 km trek in two weeks. We met some amazing folks, and reconnected with old friends.
The band was outstanding. A huge thank you to SnowHeel Slim who played the meanest guitar i’ve ever heard, Andre Tellier for providing the most dynamite back beat and to Mr. Rob foreman for killin’ it on the Doghouse bass like no other. An even bigger thank you to all the fans that supported us, the venues who put us up and the strangers who took us in!
